NOTICE OF ISSUE CHANGE / STANCE UPDATE — LEWIS FOR MAYOR CAMPAIGN

The Lewis for Mayor Campaign is issuing this notice to make clear how we handle any change in our stance on public issues. When new information becomes available, when community feedback shifts, or when circumstances in Daytona Beach evolve, we believe it is our responsibility to address those changes openly. Our campaign does not hide adjustments, ignore concerns, or pretend that every issue stays the same forever. We communicate directly with residents because transparency is the foundation of trust.

When we update our position on an issue, we do so after reviewing facts, listening to residents, and evaluating what best serves the people of this city. If a stance changes, we will say so plainly. If an issue requires a different approach than before, we will explain why. Our campaign does not operate in secrecy, and we do not allow misinformation or assumptions to fill the gap. We speak for ourselves, and we do it publicly.

We also want residents to understand that issue changes are not made lightly. They are made when evidence, community needs, or city conditions demand a more effective or responsible direction. Our commitment is to the people of Daytona Beach, not to rigid talking points. When the community deserves clarity, we provide it. When the community deserves correction, we provide that too.

Any future updates to our positions will continue to be communicated directly through our official channels. We will always maintain a space where residents can share concerns, ask questions, and challenge us when needed. Agreement is not required, but respect and safety are. Threats, harassment, or intimidation toward our team or anyone in our circle will never be tolerated, regardless of the issue being discussed.

The Lewis for Mayor Campaign remains committed to honest communication, responsible leadership, and a transparent process for addressing issues as they arise. Daytona Beach deserves nothing less.
